The Perfect Cents Checking® account is great in many ways for our young members, with its easy solution for building savings, easy account access through the SAFE Mobile App and Online Banking, as well as early access to directly deposited paychecks.
Many young members open their accounts before they turn 21, and we waive associated account fees for them. When members turn 21, those waivers are no longer applied.
We want our members about to turn 21 to be fully aware of these changes so they can continue to earn dividends and avoid fees – or have time to choose another checking account that may better fit their needs.
To avoid a $5 monthly fee:
- You must be enrolled in eStatements
AND
- You must have a minimum of 10 or more debit and/or credit card purchase transactions a month OR you must have total of $500 in direct deposits a month.
To receive dividends:
- You must be enrolled in eStatements
AND
- You must have a minimum of 10 debit and/or credit card purchase transactions each month. For credit card transactions to count toward the requirement, the credit card must be in your name and under your Social Security number. (Sorry, mom’s and dad’s credit cards don’t fall under this condition.)
